What better way to get some more exercise in than to participate in a walking challenge for charity! Every year various Australian charities offer walking challenges to help raise money and awareness surrounding illness, disease and mental health.

You can create your own team, walk alone, have friends and family sponsor you, all while getting in some great exercise for a good cause.

Memory Walk & Jog

Organised by Dementia Australia, this event takes place in various states throughout the year. It aims to raise funds and awareness for dementia. Participants can walk, jog, or run in locations in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide.

You can choose between a short walk of around 2km, a long walk of 5-6km, and a long run of 5-10km.
